๐ฌ๐ง Paul Street Boys by Molnar was a delightful rediscover in preparation for my first visit to Budapest. The choice inevitably fell on a book that I had not taken into my hands for forty years. What a thrill to relive the vicissitudes of the two groups of teenagers fighting each other for the use of a pitch for afternoon games. Even at the time of my first reading I went to play and smear myself in a small field near my house, before they built another block of flats on it. A reading of a book that has no time and that presents a world of teenagers that has little interaction with that of adults and is based on the values โโof purity and solidarity that we may have lost.ย

La scelta di cosa leggere รจ caduta inevitabilmente su un libro che non avevo preso in mano per quaranta anni. Che emozione rivivere le vicissitudini dei due gruppi di adolescenti che si combattono l’un l’altro per l’uso di un campetto per le partite del pomeriggio. Anche al momento della mia prima lettura andavo a giocare e ad imbrattarmi in un piccolo campo dietro casa mia, prima che ci costruissero un altro blocco di appartamenti. Una lettura di un libro che non ha tempo e che presenta un mondo di adolescenti che poco interagisce con quello degli adulti e si basa sui valori di purezza e solidarietร che potremmo aver perso.

La elecciรณn de quรฉ leer inevitablemente recayรณ en un libro que no habรญa recogido en cuarenta aรฑos. Quรฉ emociรณn revivir las vicisitudes de los dos grupos de adolescentes que luchan entre sรญ por el uso de un campo para los juegos de la tarde. Incluso en el momento de mi primera lectura fui a jugar y a mancharme en un pequeรฑo campo detrรกs de mi casa, antes de que construyeran otro bloque de apartamentos. Esta es una lectura de un libro que no tiene tiempo y que presenta un mundo de adolescentes que interactรบa poco con el de los adultos y se basa en los valores de pureza y solidaridad que podrรญamos haber perdido.
