An Anglican church in central London, on the north-east corner of Trafalgar Square, St Martin-in-the-Field is also a point of reference for sacred music in the capital. Given its central location, the church has always played a key role in religious life but also for the performace of sacred music and the provision of charitable activities, epsecially for the area’s homeless people.

In recent years a major refurbishment programme has brought back the church, as much as possible, to its original English Baroque design and has given emphasis to the building also as a central venue with great acustics for music perfomances. Almost every day of the week one can attend the famous free lunchtime concerts, the candlelight concerts in the evenings or the jazz concerts in the crypt and enjoy the catering and cafeteria services indoor and around the church.
