Blogger Recognition Award ๐Ÿ“ƒ๐Ÿต๐Ÿ†

I have been nominated by Ribana from Popsicle Society for the Blogger Recognition Award. Thank you Ribana very much for this nomination, which is much appreciated, especially because I am still figuring out how to develop an audience for my new blog that I started only a couple of months ago.

If you donโ€™t know Ribana yet, please visit her blog and you will find many little corners of sunshine and beauty. She is originally from Romania but now lives with her husband in Singapore. She loves travelling, cooking, nature and, of course, blogging on a regular basis on her lovely website.

What Is The Bloggerโ€™s Recognition Award? [B.R.A] as explained by Rory

This Award is a way of acknowledging the work load, the creativity that bloggers put into their blogs. Running and maintaining a blog isnโ€™t just about writing something  and then knocking it out to the readership โ€“ that is the core element of blogging, but not everything. There is much much more to keeping a blog running, functioning and being presentable each day of each week of every month.

Bloggers are very talented people โ€“ they work hard, they promote, market, advertise, run a busy site.

They organise all kinds of activities, they encourage, motivate, interact, engage and are community orientated. It matters not if they are shy and reticent or loud and personable โ€“ each actively progressive blogger is the same โ€“ they all work hard and passionately with their blogs, they put the hours in to deliver to their audience each day a welcoming location to read, absorb, learn and have fun.

To escape the hustle bustles of city life, or the begrudgeries of boredom โ€“ they entice readers to peruse their pages to look for entertainment.

That is what the BRA celebrates.

Award RULES:

  • Thank the nominator, and publish a post on your blog about receiving the Blogger Recognition Award. Make sure to provide a link to the nominatorโ€™s blog in your post.
  • Give a brief story of how your blog started.
  • Give two pieces of advice to new bloggers.
  • Nominate other bloggers for this award, and inform them of their nomination.

The story behind my blog

I have been embracing blogging only recently, starting first with some photoblogging on Instagram, then adding also some text to complement the pictures, first on Blogger and, only more recently, on WordPress. This has been a gradual journey of discovery to develop the pleasure of writing blog posts about my passions and creating network relations with fellow bloggers and sympathetic souls that I would have never imagined to encounter otherwise.

My two little pieces of advice

My advice to fellow bloggers is always to tbe truthful to your own inspiration and instict while writing for a blog. Maintaining a channel of communication, for many on a daily basis, is only possible if your inspiration comes from your heart and projects to an external audience ideas and real passions that bubble inside of you.

Blogging is also about being part of a community of people with similar interests and passions, hence a critical element of blogging is about builidng relationships with fellow bloggers and creating bonds that go well beyond publishing a post on the web and getting as many likes as we possibly can.

My nominations

I would like to pass over this award to the bloggers below. Knowing them online and through exchanges on our reciprocal posts, that have also built a strong sense of community, has been an amazing experience in itself. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank them for the attention and support so far:

    1. As i have written, I value very much the bonds between bloggers so I try to provide feedback to the comments that people leave on my posts. If that does not happen sometimes may also be because of glitches in the system that do not retain comments. In any case always a pleasure seeing your passionate posts and comments. A good day to you! ๐Ÿ˜Š

  3. Grazie, grazie e ancora grazie!

  4. First of all, sincere apologies for the extremely late reply to your nomination. Secondly, congratulations on your award. I have followed your blog with great interest and enjoy the variety of topics and languages you cover. Finally, thank you so much for my nomination. Sometimes life – travel, family etc. just get in the way of my blogging! I’m very impressed by the consistency of your blog posts. It is something to which I aspire! Anyway, my next post is about the award – when I get round to finishing it!
