๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง Particular of a Mozart family portrait with a young Wolfgang Amadeus playing the piano with his sister. This portrait by Johan Nepomuk della Croce is one of the few actually realised during Mozart’s life and may portray a realistic resemblance of Wolfgang as a young man in his early 20s in 1780.

Vivaldiโ€™s Portrait ๐Ÿ–ผ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

An anonymous portrait mostly associated with Antonio Vivaldi, the Red Priest, here depicted wearing scarlet red clothes. In reality his nickname was most probably due to the colour of his hair, a characteristic family trait. Originally posted on my Instagram blog Composers ๐ŸŽน๐Ÿ›๐ŸŽถ ย  Music Continue reading Vivaldiโ€™s Portrait ๐Ÿ–ผ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น
