Postcards from Copenhagen ๐Ÿ–ผ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ฐ

Located in the middle of the oldest and most visited park in Copenhagen, Rosenborg Castle is now hosting Royal Collections, the Danish Crown Jewels and the Danish Crown Regalia. The castle was built in Dutch Renaissance style by Christian IV as his summer residence.

Inaugurated in 2005 as one of the most modern opera houses in the world, Operaen, the Copenhagen Opera House is a beautiful architectural gem on the island of Holmen in central Copenhagen, just opposite the castle of Amalienborg. The central foyer features three spherical chandeliers created by the Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson that amaze audience getting in and out the main auditoriumn.

Copenhagen offers a great variety of restaurants offering all kinds of cuisines. My preference always goes to seafood restaurants and my favourite there is Musling Bistro, classy with friendly service, suitable for a romantic dinenr of a quick meal overlooking one of the main shopping areas in Copenhagen. A great choice of seafood fresh from the Baltic and the North Sea.
